Back in October 2025, Interfaith launched the People for People Fund with support from Price Philanthropies as part of United for San Diego. United for San Diego is an unprecedented partnership among three of San Diego’s largest foundations: Prebys Foundation, Price Philanthropies, and San Diego Foundation. Formed in response to deep federal funding cuts, the partners are working together to protect access to food, housing, and healthcare for families in need.

The fund has strengthened the safety net we provide by expanding access to basic needs, housing, and flexible assistance — with a focus on immigrant communities and low-income individuals affected by federal benefit losses.

To date the People for People fund has supported 199 individuals and families affected by federal funding cuts and the rising cost of living.
